vogue paris|emmanuelle alt’s first cover

Vogue Paris April 2011. Gisele Bündchen shot in St. Barts by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matatin.

This is Emmanuelle Alt’s first cover after taking charge of Vogue Paris. It’s not evolutionary or revolutionary. It is a solid cover to continue the magazine with. Some times a new editor in chief needs a little time to feel completely comfortable in her new position and start to change things. I think this is what will take place here.

Carine Roitfeld’s last Vogue Paris (March 2011) under her leadership featured Saskia De Brauw, shot by Mert & Marcus.
